Frosty walk on Christmas Day

Pictures are at the bottom...

The weather forecast leading up to christmas had been predicting an epically grim -17C for christmas day. This has weakened, but we still had -7 or so, which is very cold for Reykjavik. Helen and I took Stella out for a walk around town to experience some cold and see the sights.

We had a nice walk around by the old harbour, which had ice forming on the seawater, and then a short stroll through town admiring the tourists lolling about, wishing there was somewhere open for them to spend their money, before we got cold and headed home.
