Jenna's friend Molly's parents own a holiday home in South Lake Tahoe, and invited us up for the weekend! We'd go for walks in the woods, and admire the lake and the mountains in the summer, and then kick back at night in the lap of luxury and chat the night away. Or something along those lines. There ended up 10 of us in the end, Molly, Jenna, two of Jenna's friends from back east, Effie and Lizzy, the four canadians, Adam, Greg, Steve and Danny, Marie, and myself. We all drove up in a general mixmash of cars, I think we ended up with five cars. But we all made it, and it all worked out pretty much as planned, bludging by night, and taking in the surrounds by day. We did a short walk out to Cascade falls and looking at Vikingsholme and then sat on the beach for a while. The lake is wonderfully clear, and freezing cold, despite the beach being wonderfully clean and quite warm.
