Jenna's BBQ

Was feeling kinda out of it, needed some music and a change of scene. Went up to visit Amoeba Records (of monkey radio fame) for some retail therapy. I'd taken the car (Mike had just bought his own) and was going to go shopping and cruising all day. Looking for cool out of the way shops, pickup flyers, etc. Bought a few cds at Amoeba, Went for a long walk up and down Haight St, up the hill above, back down, and then met up with Marie and Claire to watch Danny not play in the weekly Gaelic footbal game. Went from there to a couple of bars and then home again late. Good quality rock on the streets. These guys had a sign up saying this was their first and last gig. Seemed a couple of the members were leaving the bay area, it was too expensive for them to stay living there. Quite a shame I was actually trying to take pictures of the blue jay, but the pigeons wouldn't leave till I took their photo as well. Blue Jay striking a pose And again
