So, to keep the gnashing hordes demanding pictures and stories at bay, (aka my family) and also to get me back into the groove of writing the stories and captioning the pictures, I've put together a short collection of photos covering the second leg of my journey. The stories have all been summarized in the emails I've sent you all over the last few months, so if you want any more detailed info than what was in those stories, you'll have to wait for the individual pages.
These cover from October 10, when I left Yosemite, through Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennesee, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and New York. phew, that was a mouthful. As you can see, I went back and forth a bit around the east coast. Because the states over there are little piddly ones compared to the west, so you can.
Oh, and as I'm writing on a couch at my grandfather's house, looking out over my uncle's turf farm, with the glasshouse mountains in the distance, after yet another round of gorging myself on yummy christmas food.... Merry Christmas!
