I'd gone to see Amiina play at Tjönabíó with wolfgang, and saw the frozen pond at the Ráðhús on the way there. I've always loved this pond. It has a set of stairs that go down into and under it, leading to the carpark. I left the concert before Amiina even started, they are far too trendy for me, using electronic tuners to tune their wine glasses, with stuffed birds all over the stage. Knowing they had warmed up for Sigur Rós, I don't even know why I went :) Very cute and modern and trendy icelandic though. I can't deny that.
