Christmas Day. White Christmas. It had started snowing the evening before, much to everyone's delight, although the two cracks of thunder and lighting around dinner time confused and scared just about everyone. I was delighted. I hadn't seen that purple/blue flash on the walls in years, and it reminded me of home.
Christmas day is quiet day in Iceland. Most people are at home doing not a lot. I decided I had to go outside and play in the snow though. I made a big snowman on Arnarholl, but got to experimental putting big heads on little bodies on sloping ground and ended up ruining it, so no photos. There were already a few other ones there to keep the statues happy anyway. Here's a few snaps from the snow around town on this lovely white christmas.
