Friday afternoons can often see a free concert out in the garden at 12 Tónar, the rather spiffy record shop and label up the hill. (They'll serve you coffee and chocolates while you listen to cds and read magazines in the shop) This week was Kira Kira, someone I'd been hearing about, but had never quite managed to get to.
Some really really nice stuff, and good dose of, well, modern icelandic avant garde. When it was good it was fabulous though.
A lovely way to wrap up the week though, and this was the first time half the gang going to Þórsmörk actually got to meet up, so over dinner, and later coffee, and then beers, we all sort of caught up a bit.
