Sjómannadagur, or seaman's day, is the only day of the year when all the boats are in town. The seaman have dances and big parties, and contests and displays. I always like the fish displays, showing all the sorts of fish that come up in the nets, but I didn't take as many pictures of them this year. Clever archaeologists can go back up to the gallery list and find previous year's events.
It's still a nice day, but it didn't really feel as well put together this year, a lot more haphazard. Not a very pleasant day either though.
