As part of the backstory for Royal de Luxe, the city had been strewn with art installations, mostly of an "Angry giant rubble" form. I missed the finale, where they ripped the head off the giant and threw him into the sea though misreading the schedule, but I managed to get pictures of just about all the rest. Apparently there's some cars piled up out of town a bit, but I've got to go and check them out another day.
The fork and knife and nails were excellent, they go right into the road. The car stuck on the tree I'm not entirely sure how they did. It looks excellent. They Geysir was hilarious. 7pm on the day, and it was closed up and shut down. One of the coolest things in downtown, and they got rid of it after only 4 days.
And of course, the evening gave us eurovision, where the boring old serbs won. This ukrainian song should have won instead.
And, to top of an eventuful saturday, we had federal elections. Not a good answer, with the current coalition staying in power, though having their margin cut back to a single seat. I wanted a much stronger message sent about the environment. :(
