A beautiful day, a desire to get out, but no desire to do it by myself, was having a bit of a down day. I got a call in the afternoon from Rakel, she'd been hard at work all day, and itching to get out into the daylight, and did I want to go for a walk?

Did I ever! Gave me just the push I needed, so as quickly as we could, we got out onto the road, and out towards Blue Lagoon, to go up Þorbjarnafell. Not a bad mountain, and one I may go back to, to explore it's myriad of canyons and gorges on it's split summit. I'm sure you could get quite a nice view from there with a bit more sun too. As it was, we sort of lost the fabulous blue day by the minute as we walked up :)

Still, any day out is a great day out, and a day out with company is even nicer :)
