I hadn't been very diligent at aurora spotting so far this autumn, and even less so when it came to photo trips. But walking out to the car after visiting my brother in Grafarvogur, we were all treated to quite a show. I stopped in the sculpture garden on the way home and took a few pictures. Though, I managed to forget half of what I learnt last winter, as usual :) (f13 and 30seconds will give you twinkly city lights, but it turns the stars into streaks, you need to keep under 10 sec or so for the stars to stay still)
