Our first day in Perth we just hung out around town a little bit. Kata went and visited Alda and Lee, and Oli and Steph and I went into town to look around. There was some arts expo thing on, with a giant red ball we had to find, then we took a stroll around King James Park, a really nice nice big inner city park, set up on top of a hill and very centrally located. A lot like the Brisbane botantical gardens by the river, but up on a hill with a much better view :)
