A classic trip, though somewhat limited by the short winter days and very icy roads, Bjöggi drove us all out along Selvogsvegur, the old round around the tip of Dýrafjörður. It's a really scenic drive, though at this time of year we couldn't/didn't drive all the way, with extensive icing on the road, and a jeep with not exactly the most serious winter tires.

We surprised a fox out near where we turned around, trapped on a bit of cliff above the road, and generally just enjoyed a short road trip in clear blue skies before returning home for a big BBQ dinner with a few other local friends of Bjöggi and Eija.

A lovely weekend trip away.
