Menningarnótt is one of the best days in the Reykjavik yearly calendar. All sorts of arts and cultural events all over town, people throwing open their gardens, their cellars, their loungrooms and showing off what they're doing.

It's also the Fágun annual home brew keg party on Miklatún/Klambratún, and the first year I hadn't brewed for it. And of course, the first year the tv news turned up an interviewed people about it!
